About the Role
Illuminating Steps LLC is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in Roosevelt, NY, to deliver high-quality ABA services in a supportive, mission-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments, including FBAs and skills assessments.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized ABA treatment plans and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Provide direct supervision and training to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and paraprofessionals.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to drive clinical decision-making.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency of care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with funding and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing professional development activities.
Requirements
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing.
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental disabilities.
- Proficiency in conducting FBAs, VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, or similar assessments.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills for supervising RBTs and staff.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for parent and team collaboration.
