About the Role
Covera Health is seeking a Product Manager to lead and expand products like Protect AI and Protect Seniors, as well as new product initiatives. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams and customers to translate needs into well-defined products, with a focus on platform, API, data, and AI work.
Responsibilities
- Work with internal teams and customers to understand clinical and business needs and translate them into product direction.
- Own the product vision and roadmap, focusing on expanding existing products and supporting new ones.
- Collaborate with Engineering and AI teams to design and deliver products, including platform capabilities and API specifications.
- Write detailed product requirements and ensure traceability across product releases.
- Review technical design documents and provide feedback throughout the product lifecycle.
- Identify gaps in existing products to inform an overarching product vision.
- Define success metrics and customer reporting to demonstrate measurable product impact.
- Utilize AI tools for rapid prototyping, discovery, analysis, and delivery.
- Champion best practices for planning, documentation, development, testing, and delivery.
- Communicate product priorities, progress, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience (product management, engineering, or similar roles).
- Strong technical background with experience in platforms, API specifications, and data.
- Experience in healthcare, ideally in healthcare SaaS or health technology.
- Working knowledge of SQL, Python, and JSON.
- Ability to analyze data to answer product and business questions.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools for rapid prototyping and comfort working with AI-forward products.
- Ability to work with both internal teams and customers.
- Experience writing detailed product requirements and reviewing technical design documents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative, fast-paced, start-up or growth-stage environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Passion for improving healthcare quality.
- Experience with Databricks preferred.
- Clinical or healthcare training or exposure (e.g., nursing, medical school, biomedical background) preferred.
- Exposure to radiology helpful but not required.
- Experience at a large technology company preferred.
