About the Role
As a UI/UX Engineer, you will design and implement software products used daily by clients and our tax team. You will shape products and processes that do not yet exist, influencing their design from the outset.
Responsibilities
- Rethink the work of our tax team by collaborating to identify areas where software and AI can improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Design interactions and interfaces for human-AI collaboration, enabling task delegation, result comprehension, decision-making, and intervention.
- Enhance the client experience by creating simple, transparent, and effortless interactions for tax matters.
- Take ownership from initial concept through prototyping to final application, developing and deploying solutions.
- Build and evolve our design system to ensure consistent, intuitive, and high-quality interfaces.
Requirements
- Proven experience in conceptualizing and implementing digital products, bridging design and development.
- Understanding of software development, including application logic, data flows, interfaces, and architectural decisions.
- Strong sense of UX, identifying user pain points and prioritizing clear user guidance and thoughtful details.
- AI-native mindset, constantly exploring AI for improved workflows and sharing successful approaches.
- Ability to take initiative, make decisions with ambiguous requirements, and justify them.
- Open and constructive communication style, able to articulate opinions, provide feedback, and be persuaded by sound arguments.
- Very good German and fluent English language skills.
- Residency in or willingness to relocate to Berlin.
