About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead sales and achieve targets for our home air conditioning products within major home electronics retailers. You will build and develop a high-performing sales team, driving sales, gross profit, and market share.
Responsibilities
- Develop mid-term and annual strategies for assigned retail headquarters.
- Lead key negotiations and contract renewals.
- Manage overall sales, gross profit, and promotional expenses.
- Design and manage KPIs such as SKU adoption, turnover rate, and market share.
- Oversee budget vs. actuals, perform variance analysis, and make decisions on improvement measures.
- Set goals, evaluate performance, and provide feedback to sales team members.
- Develop negotiation skills, data utilization capabilities, and optimize account assignments.
- Maximize organizational performance, including motivation management.
Requirements
- Approximately 10 years of sales experience in Japan with major home electronics retailers (e.g., white goods, home air conditioning).
- Experience in sales and headquarters negotiations with major trading companies (required).
- Advanced negotiation and decision-making skills.
- P/L management experience.
