About the Role
As a sales representative, you will serve as the primary sales contact between our company and the headquarters of major home electronics retailers. In addition to maximizing sales and profits for your assigned accounts, you will collaborate with various internal departments to drive strategic sales initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Headquarters negotiations and relationship building
- Conduct regular negotiations with buyers from the home electronics retail headquarters
- Negotiate prices, rebates, and terms
- Plan and execute sales strategies
- Develop annual and semi-annual sales plans (sales and profit)
- Plan and promote sales promotion activities (flyers, web, in-store)
- Numerical management and analysis
- Understand sales trends through POS data analysis
- Create sales forecasts and estimates
- Analyze deviations from plans and develop improvement measures
Requirements
- Approximately 5 years of sales experience in Japan with major home electronics retailers (white goods, home air conditioners, etc.)
- Corporate sales capabilities (negotiation and relationship building skills)
- Data analysis skills (Excel, POS analysis)
- Marketing and sales promotion planning skills, presentation skills
- Basic knowledge of home appliances, IT products, etc.
- Knowledge of home air conditioning products is desirable
- Special incentive for those with air conditioner sales experience (eligibility criteria will be explained during the hiring process)
