About the Role

Weave is building the definitive platform for understanding and improving how engineering teams work, leveraging modern AI to provide accurate and actionable insights into productivity, impact, and collaboration. This role offers a rare opportunity to join at the ground floor and shape how millions of engineers and leaders understand engineering work.

Responsibilities

  • Get customers live fast by running end-to-end onboarding, from connecting GitHub and AI tools to their first executive report.
  • Drive adoption past the buyer by training engineering managers and tech leads until Weave is part of their weekly routines.
  • Serve as the data expert, helping customers interpret metrics, run business reviews, and investigate data discrepancies.
  • Own renewals and expansion by tracking account health, identifying new champions, and partnering with sales.
  • Close the loop with engineering by triaging issues, writing bug reports, and feeding customer patterns back into the roadmap.
  • Build the customer success playbook, including onboarding checklists, health scores, and help documentation, with automation where possible.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in a post-sale, customer-facing role at a B2B SaaS company (customer success, account management, implementation, solutions, or support).
  • Proven experience owning a book of business and being measured on renewals, retention, or expansion.
  • Technical aptitude to unblock customers, including understanding of software development lifecycles (PRs, code review, CI/CD, incidents) and comfort with GitHub.
  • Daily use of AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) with informed opinions on their capabilities.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex data to technical leaders.
  • Self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and operating at high speed.
  • Ability to work 5 days a week in the San Francisco office.

  • Products include the Weave platform (showing engineering leaders how AI is changing their team's output, quality, and token spend) and the open-source Weave Router (routing agent prompts to the right model based on cost, speed, and quality).
  • Small, intense, highly collaborative team environment with real ownership from day one.
