About the Role
As a Senior Technical Product Manager, Agentic Customization, you'll own the product surface and technical contracts for CoCounsel's agentic customization capabilities, including the registry, authoring tools, and workflow runtime. You will collaborate daily with Engineering, Science, Applied Research, Security, and Design teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage the skills and plugin registry, including packaging format, manifest schema, versioning, publishing, discovery, and installation lifecycle.
- Define scoping for user, team, and organization, along with an admin-controlled entitlement and permission model, and provenance, signing, and review gates.
- Oversee skill authoring (Creator) through conversational and structured methods, ensuring well-formed skills, test harnesses, evals, and regression checks before sharing.
- Facilitate iteration loops driven by usage and feedback for skill authoring.
- Integrate agent runtime, defining how skills are discovered, selected, and loaded into the agent's context, considering progressive disclosure, tool binding, and budget constraints.
- Manage how skills compose into multi-step workflows and connectors to external tools and content through MCP and similar protocols.
- Ensure trust, security, and containment through tenant and matter-level isolation, sandboxing, and least-privilege tool access.
- Implement audit logging, data residency, and protection against prompt-injection and supply-chain risks for third-party skills.
- Define quality and measurement standards, including skill-level and workflow-level eval metrics (task success, tool-call accuracy, regressions), and adoption and usage telemetry.
- Collaborate with Science on offline and online evaluation.
- Manage delivery through PRDs and API/contract specifications, MVP scoping, design-partner betas, and GA readiness with Marketing and Sales.
Requirements
- 6+ years in product management, with at least 3 years on platform, API, developer-facing, or AI/agent products.
- Proven track record of shipping 0-to-1 platform capabilities from beta to GA with enterprise customers.
- Hands-on understanding of LLM agent architecture.
- Fluency in writing technical specs and ability to participate effectively in design reviews.
