About the Role
White Swan Data is expanding its execution team for Racing and Sports, seeking high-energy, curious individuals with an understanding of betting markets to join their in-house fixed odds team. This role requires availability for day, evening, and weekend shifts. The company offers considerable opportunity for growth and advancement.
Responsibilities
- Manage trading system to maximize volume of trades and hit target metrics.
- Collaborate with developers and quants to enhance the trading system with practical feedback.
- Work closely with the operational support team to optimize the trading pipeline.
- Resolve practical problems swiftly to minimize trading downtime.
Requirements
- BSc in Mathematics or a similar discipline (physics, economics, engineering etc.).
- Strong work ethic and desire to succeed.
- Ability to act precisely to instruction and communicate technical issues clearly.
- Availability on weekends and evenings.
- Proficient time management skills to balance multiple tasks.
- Willingness to work some unsociable hours (weekends, early mornings, and late nights).
- A good understanding of betting and odds is beneficial.
