About the Role
Wyzant is the web's largest tutor marketplace, helping K-12 students, college students, and adults succeed. There is significant potential to expand our reach by enhancing the user experience and offering new services.
Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing the product’s evolution, determining impactful developments, and ensuring completion.
- Define product requirements and written specifications by understanding the Wyzant platform and user base.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, customer success, sales, and marketing teams to develop and test solutions.
- Manage the gathering and analysis of user data post-launch to inform product decisions.
- Provide ongoing status reports and recommendations to product team leadership.
- Act as a problem solver and point of contact, managing internal stakeholders for maximum user impact.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in STEM or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product management.
- Proven success leading product teams in building the right product and building it right.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide efficient, creative solutions to complex problems.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, particularly engineering.
- Strong communication skills.
- Highly motivated with a resourceful, “figure-it-out” approach.
- Creativity, open-mindedness, and a positive attitude.
