About the Role
Lead engineering efforts to design and develop tools and systems for seamless IXL integration with customer technology ecosystems. This role offers an opportunity to manage a team of engineers and provide hands-on technical and project leadership within a high-growth, mission-driven company.
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering efforts, including planning projects, developing estimates, assigning work, and tracking status.
- Drive the development process, including designing, coding, documenting, testing, debugging, and tuning.
- Collaborate and communicate clearly across multiple development teams.
- Work cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and QA to maintain and surpass product usability and quality standards.
- Provide excellent project management direction and motivation to the team.
- Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Excellent programming skills in Java or other object-oriented language.
- Postgres, SQL, Data Architecture a plus.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Strong analytical-reasoning and problem-solving skills.
