About the Role
Study Smart collaborates with partners to promote educational equity, access, and success by providing a diverse range of tools for students, families, and educators. Our mission is grounded in closing opportunity gaps and empowering communities through high-quality, culturally responsive academic support.
Responsibilities
- Teach ELA subjects to students in grades 3-5.
- Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students.
- Utilize information about class assignments to inform tutoring sessions.
- Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies.
- Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart staff.
- Partner with Study Smart's Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies.
Requirements
- Must hold a completed 4-year degree.
- Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired.
- Available Tuesdays through Thursdays between 11:45 AM - 3:30 PM EST.
- Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.
