About the Role
Adaptyv is building the infrastructure to give AI agents access to the physical world, enabling them to run biology experiments. This role will be instrumental in establishing Adaptyv's London lab as a key part of the UK life-science ecosystem, providing high-throughput protein production and characterization services, running work for partners, and fostering a local community around protein engineering.
Responsibilities
- Own UK customer operations, supporting clients from onboarding through experiment submission and results delivery.
- Manage strategic programs and partnerships, including milestones, reporting, and deliverables.
- Build Adaptyv's UK community presence by organizing events like competitions, hackathons, and workshops.
- Drive UK marketing and communications efforts, coordinating announcements, event content, and customer stories.
- Develop and implement operating systems for work, creating processes and automating workflows.
- Take ownership of evolving needs as the London operation grows.
Requirements
- A life-sciences background with a degree in biology, biochemistry, bioengineering, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of running complex projects in operations, program management, partnerships, or a startup environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple stakeholders, deadlines, and events concurrently.
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, for concise updates and confident representation.
- High ownership mentality, comfortable with ambiguity and driving tasks to completion.
- Proficiency in using AI tools for work, including tools like Claude Code and Adaptyv's internal software.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to London for an on-site role.
