About the Role
The Federal Work Study Lab Assistant will support current students by providing opportunities to use and learn lab equipment. This position will complement a student's educational program by increasing their skills with current equipment, customer service, and basic administrative functions.
Responsibilities
- Assist in general daily operations of the lab.
- Support students and faculty.
- Ensure lab equipment is in proper working order.
- Support the Photography Department with basic administrative functions.
- Check students in and out of the lab.
- Check equipment in and out of the lab for students and faculty.
- Assist students with the use of lab equipment.
- Monitor lab usage to ensure students adhere to lab policies.
- Assist with the maintenance of lab equipment.
- Assist with general departmental administrative tasks.
Requirements
- Basic computer skills.
- Proficiency with Adobe CC and the Microsoft Office suite.
