About the Role

As a Lead Engineer focusing on UI products within the Transaction Banking unit, you will drive the design and implementation of critical components in the Digital Engineering stack. You will focus the team on code quality, automation, and testability, while collaborating closely with backend teams. As a manager, you will develop talent, work with product owners, visual designers, and business clients to deliver a consumer-grade digital experience. You will contribute to the product vision, roadmap, and engineering culture.

Responsibilities

Drive the design and implementation of critical components in the Digital Engineering stack.
Focus the team on code quality, automation, and testability.
Work closely with backend teams and technologies.
Develop talent of a group of passionate engineers.
Work directly with product owners, visual designers and business clients to deliver a consumer-grade, industry-beating, Digital Experience.
Contribute to the vision and define the product roadmap.
Contribute to building an engineering culture within the global team.
Evolve through the entire spectrum of the software life-cycle.
Collaborate with product owners, business and operations users.

Requirements

Minimum 1-7 years of relevant professional experience using a modern UI programming language (Javascript/TypeScript).
Experience building modern UI products using React.
Proven ability to lead engineering teams and deliver complex products with multiple stakeholders.
Experience architecting, designing full stack apps in AWS.
Prior experience with working on high availability, mission critical systems using active/active and blue-green deployment methodology.
BS. or higher in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience).
