About the Role
We are seeking a senior engineer to build and own AI-powered product features end-to-end, from schema and API design through to production deployment and iteration. This is an AI-native engineering role where AI is expected to be a core part of your workflow, significantly multiplying your ability to design, build, and ship.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship fullstack features independently, from technical design through deployment and monitoring
- Raise the bar on code quality by shipping reliable, exceptionally clean code across the entire stack, covering APIs, databases, and frontend components
- Design pragmatic data models and database schemas that scale with product growth
- Utilize AI coding tools as a core part of your workflow to increase output without compromising quality
- Translate complex product challenges into concrete, shippable technical plans
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and customers to create and improve products
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience building and shipping production software, with a track record of owning features end-to-end
- Hands-on experience as an AI-native Engineer with the ability to produce high-quality, production-ready output
- Experience with relational databases and solid schema design instincts, including the ability to model a domain sensibly and reason about tradeoffs
- Understanding of modern cloud infrastructure
- Experience with Kubernetes is a significant plus
- Fluency in at least one modern language such as TypeScript, Python, or Go
- Demonstrated fullstack ownership, with comfort across backend, data, and frontend
- Clear communication and a collaborative, low-ego approach to code review and design
