About the Role
This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) across Nestlé’s Oceania Supply Chain network. As SHE Manager Supply Chain, you’ll play an influential leadership role, partnering with senior leaders to drive transformation, strengthen safety leadership, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across distribution centres and logistics operations. More than a compliance role, you'll influence how safety is embedded into everyday decisions and coach leaders at every level to create a culture where people go home safe every day.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery and continuous improvement of SHE programs, systems, and compliance across Nestlé's Oceania logistics network.
- Partner with Supply Chain leaders to strengthen safety performance, provide strategic guidance, and embed a high-performing SHE culture.
- Drive the market-wide audit program, ensuring compliance with Nestlé standards, legal requirements, and governance obligations.
- Coach and influence leaders and operational teams to build capability, accountability, and engagement in SHE.
- Lead investigations, identify improvement opportunities, and turn insights into practical solutions that deliver real business impact.
- Partner with the Oceania SHE team and key stakeholders to continuously enhance systems, training, and best practices.
- Champion supply chain security activities across all sites supporting the Nestle security strategy.
Requirements
- Proven experience within a fast-paced operational environment.
- A strong leader who can influence at all levels, driving behavioral change and stronger safety outcomes across the business.
- Demonstrated experience leading transformation change, moving beyond compliance to build stronger ownership and accountability for safety.
- The ability to translate complex requirements into practical, business-focused solutions.
- Strong coaching and communication skills, with the ability to build capability and embed best practice across diverse teams.
- A passion for safety, with the curiosity to understand the "why" behind risks and opportunities for improvement.
- The ability to balance operational priorities while keeping safety at the forefront.
- A growth mindset with strong learning agility, enabling you to quickly build capability and thrive in a dynamic environment.
- A hands-on approach and willingness to travel regularly across Australia and the Oceania region to partner with leaders and teams, delivering training, audits, and safety initiatives where they matter most.
- Experience leading management system audits and working with SHE frameworks, including ISO standards, would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Full Australian working rights.
- Applicants may be required to undergo pre-employment checks, including but not limited to health checks, prior to appointment to this role.
