About the Role
Become a qualified train driver for passenger and freight transport. You will learn to master up to 8,000 HP – safely, reliably, and punctually. The training includes simulator and e-learning, with a significant practical component of at least 240 hours on the locomotive. You will gain knowledge of all relevant signals, operational rules, and safety regulations, and receive the EU train driver's license and other qualifications. Experienced colleagues will support you and welcome you into the railway family.
Responsibilities
- Complete a 13.5-month qualification for a future-proof profession.
- Undertake training for freight and passenger transport.
- Receive certified and practical training from experienced trainers.
- Prepare intensively for examinations.
- Benefit from personal support before and during the program.
- Master up to 8,000 HP safely, reliably, and punctually.
- Learn all relevant signals, operational rules, and safety regulations.
- Obtain the EU train driver's license and other qualifications.
Requirements
- Possess a Bildungsgutschein (education voucher) from the employment agency, job center, pension provider, etc.
- Be flexible, motivated, and willing to learn something new.
- Be at least 20 years old.
- Have at least a Hauptschulabschluss (basic secondary school leaving certificate) or an equivalent recognized qualification.
- Be willing to work shifts nationwide.
- Have good German language skills (at least B2 level) with a certificate or a German passport.
- Possess good health and psychological resilience.
- Be eager for continuous training and development.
