About the Role
Wingstop Canada is seeking an Assistant General Manager eager to learn the operations of a high-volume restaurant and develop into a future mini-CEO. This role serves as a launchpad for career advancement within the company, offering hands-on experience and a clear path to becoming a General Manager.
Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager in running all store operations.
- Ensure quality of food and delivery of customer service.
- Gain hands-on experience with labor, inventory, scheduling, sales targets, and cost controls.
- Recruit, train, coach, and inspire the team.
- Learn restaurant management, financial performance, and leadership skills.
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, and workplace standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of leadership experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment (e.g., Shift Lead/Manager) or 1+ year as an Assistant General Manager of a high-volume restaurant.
- Experience with both back-of-house and full-service front-of-house operations is a plus.
- A growth mindset and drive to develop into a future General Manager.
- People-first leadership and coaching abilities.
- Passion for food and customer experience.
- Ability to hustle, problem-solve, and remain calm under pressure.
- Experience with scheduling, inventory, cash handling, or shift management is a strong asset.
