About the Role

We are investing in our owned social channels to grow share of voice and tell a clearer, more connected company story across LinkedIn, X, Instagram and YouTube. This role will take direct ownership of X, manage its day-to-day operations, and analyze social performance data across all owned channels. The goal is to create a feedback loop between audience behavior, content strategy, and creative production.

Responsibilities

  • Own X strategy, programming, and daily execution.
  • Develop a distinctive voice and clear role for Harvey on X.
  • Create posts specifically for X, not repurposed LinkedIn content.
  • Identify proactive, reactive, and real-time opportunities to join relevant conversations on X.
  • Support product launches, research, events, partnerships, customer stories, and company announcements on X.
  • Build recurring formats and programming to encourage repeat engagement.
  • Write and edit clear, sharp copy tailored for the platform.
  • Monitor replies, mentions, and relevant conversations on X.
  • Collaborate with the Social Content and Community Manager on engagement and response coverage.
  • Support founder, executive, and employee amplification on X where appropriate.
  • Exercise sound judgment in situations involving brand, reputation, or customer sensitivity.
  • Track changes to X and adapt the strategy as the platform evolves.
  • Pull weekly and monthly performance analysis across X, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube with the Social Manager and Social Content and Community Manager.
  • Collaborate with the social team to analyze performance drivers beyond surface metrics.
  • Identify patterns across format, topic, audience, timing, creative approach, and distribution.
  • Translate findings into specific programming and creative recommendations.
  • Use third-party analytics tools to track follower growth, reach, engagement, clicks, sentiment, and other channel-specific signals.
  • Analyze performance during major launches, events, and campaigns using third-party and channel analytics.
  • Work with Content Operations on data accuracy, UTMs, reporting processes, and dashboards.
  • Incorporate audience and performance insights into quarterly strategy and planning.
  • Review owned and third-party findings on legal AI conversations, share of voice, and competitor activity.
  • Identify meaningful signals from routine noise in social listening and competitive intelligence.
  • Connect listening and competitive insights with channel performance data to understand what is working.
  • Translate audience questions, competitor moves, and emerging conversations into programming and creative recommendations.
  • Write concise readouts for Social, Marketing, and company leadership.
  • Flag opportunities and risks early for team action.
  • Partner closely with the Social Manager on channel strategy, campaign planning, and editorial priorities.
  • Help translate company priorities into programming for each platform.
  • Bring performance insights into the creative briefing process.
  • Support social coverage during major events and launches.
  • Collaborate with Content, Communications, Product Marketing, Customer Engagement, and Harvey Creative Studio.
  • Help build repeatable processes without adding unnecessary approval layers.
  • Execute tasks directly while also improving team decision-making processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in social strategy, social media, audience development, digital publishing, or a related field.
  • Deep knowledge of X and a proven track record of growing or reshaping a significant brand presence there.
  • Strong editorial judgment and the ability to write sharp, platform-appropriate copy.
  • Experience managing an active social channel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with social performance data.
  • Ability to explain the reasons behind content performance, not just report numbers.
  • Experience using social listening, competitive analysis, and share-of-voice data to inform strategy.
  • A habit of translating data into specific creative and programming recommendations.
  • Experience designing social tests and evaluating results honestly.
  • Familiarity with social publishing, analytics, and listening platforms.
  • Good instincts for real-time content, reputational risk, and sensitive situations.
  • Experience presenting insights to senior marketing or company leaders.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative work style.
  • Comfort making decisions with incomplete information and adapting to shifting priorities.
  • Genuine interest in legal technology, AI, and the evolution of professional work.
  • Analytical fluency, curiosity, and the ability to tell a clear story with data, combined with strong social instincts.
  • Experience in B2B technology, media, professional services, legal, or another complex industry is helpful but not required.
