About the Role
Work with the CN Guidance Youth ACT Team to deliver services to individuals and families diagnosed with severe emotional disturbance (SED) whose needs have not been met by traditional service delivery approaches.
Responsibilities
- Oversee supervisory and administrative responsibilities to ensure staff meets agency and regulatory standards.
- Direct and supervise staff activities, lead team meetings, and provide case direction.
- Conduct side-by-side staff contacts and regular individual supervision meetings.
- Oversee assessment and service planning, quality assurance, utilization review, incident reporting, and inter-system coordination.
- Perform assessments, crisis intervention, and discharge planning.
- Provide direct, face-to-face, and/or collateral services in the office or community.
- Be available on an as-needed basis 24/7 and manage after-hours calls for the team.
- Participate in community and agency needs planning with the administrative team.
- Engage in agency-wide trainings and work groups, including NYS specific training on the Youth ACT model.
- Support the use of data in clinical supervision for decision-making.
- Identify and implement quality improvement trainings and activities.
- Cultivate a culture of inclusion respecting individual strengths, views, and experiences.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Demonstrate commitment to maintaining a safe work environment by following established safety guidelines.
- Utilize relevant knowledge or experience regarding health and safety protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
