About the Role
Noah's New York Bagels is seeking a Shift Leader to help motivate the team, deliver a great guest experience, and set the morale and tone of the team. Shift Leaders open and close the store with little to no supervision, ensuring food quality, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. This role offers opportunities for career growth, with many General Managers starting as Shift Leaders.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the General Manager to motivate the team and deliver a great guest experience.
- Empower team members and set the morale and tone.
- Provide feedback and coach team members.
- Open and close the store with minimal supervision.
- Ensure the quality of food and beverages.
- Maintain a safe and clean store environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must be able to work varied hours/days, including early mornings (as early as 3 am) and weekends.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must possess or be able to acquire a ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training.
- Possession of a current, valid, state-issued driver's license is preferred but only required at specific locations.
- Must meet driving qualifications as required by Company policy.
- Sits, stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during working hours.
