About the Role
Global Travel Collection (GTC), part of Internova Travel Group, is a premier collection of international luxury travel advisors. GTC advisors are industry leaders in providing premium travel services to leisure travelers, corporate executives, and the entertainment industry. This role offers best-in-class travel consulting and arrangements for clients, assisting a principal advisor business owner.
Responsibilities
- Provide best-in-class travel consulting and arrangements including air, hotel, car, and limo.
- Assist a principal advisor business owner with all aspects of client travel.
- Understand, evaluate, and support client needs, offering professional advice to solve travel and transportation problems while adhering to corporate policies.
- Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks to fulfill client needs.
- Finalize air, car, and hotel bookings using the Sabre reservation system.
- Issue tickets, exchanges, MCOs, voids, and refunds using the Sabre reservation system.
- Handle invoicing using Sabre or Agent Portal.
- Reconfirm booked travel prior to, immediately before, and during travel, and resolve issues to ensure client satisfaction.
- Research destinations, accommodations, travel advisories, reviews, and costs using the internet.
- Handle customer service issues directly with vendors to achieve the best resolution for customers and the Company.
- Plan international travel, demonstrating knowledge of world geography, routing, faring, and international requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or at least three (3) years of experience as a full-time travel agent.
- Experience booking domestic and international travel using public and private carriers.
- Strong knowledge of the Sabre reservation system, including GDS formats, shortcuts, enhancements, pricing, fare calculations, e-ticketing, and exchanges.
- Ability to service client travel and concierge needs independently with minimal supervision.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent dispute resolution skills.
- Well-organized and detail-oriented.
- Enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
- Time management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities.
