About the Role
This internship offers the opportunity to work directly with the Data Insights lead, ensuring accurate tracking, up-to-date reporting, and supporting company-wide analyses. You will manage daily tracking QA and recurring reports, progressing to analysis projects and collaborating with various teams.
Responsibilities
- Check event tracking implementation across iOS and web, flagging gaps or issues to engineering.
- Maintain tracking documentation, including event specifications and naming conventions.
- Build and maintain recurring reports and dashboards for product, growth, and leadership.
- Extract data to answer ad hoc questions and summarize findings and caveats clearly.
- Support analyses for Marketing, Business Development, Content, and Product, covering user behavior, conversion, acquisition, content management, and industry trends.
Requirements
- Currently a senior undergraduate or master's student.
- Strong analytical thinking.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Clear written communication, including explaining results to non-technical teammates.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Skills
- SQL or other data querying/analysis methods (Python or advanced Excel/Sheets).
- Analytics or data internship experience.
- Familiarity with event tracking, attribution, or A/B testing concepts.
- Experience working at an early-stage startup.
- Passion for music and technology.
