About the Role
Minerva builds AI for marketing leaders, automating and accelerating their workflows with AI agents. These agents augment the end-to-end marketer workflow by automating analysis, campaign planning, activation, measurement, and reporting. Customers use Minerva to better understand their customers and introduce AI into their commercial organizations, with campaigns outperforming other tools due to Minerva's full-stack approach.
Responsibilities
- Build pipelines for messy sources including APIs, files, database extracts, and approved scraping sources with inconsistent formats and changing schemas.
- Ensure reruns are safe through incremental loads, backfills, and retries that prevent data duplication or corruption, quarantining bad records.
- Automate the onboarding process from source configuration and access checks through provisioning, validation, deployment, and first delivery.
- Build reusable modules and components for other teams, including connectors and storage components with tests, examples, and clear interfaces.
- Maintain source metadata throughout the pipeline to track the origin of every value and enforce privacy controls.
- Own integrations in production, connecting them to shared monitoring, writing recovery runbooks, and fixing source-specific problems.
Requirements
- Typically three or more years building and supporting production data pipelines, or equivalent ownership.
- Experience bringing in data from various vendors and source types, including messy data at scale, and maintaining it post-launch.
- Practical judgment regarding incremental processing, backfills, failures, and cost, with demonstrated ability to maintain data correctness as volume grows.
- Experience automating repeated work or building components used by other engineers.
- Strong Python and SQL skills.
- Ability to define source owner needs and document supported functionalities.
- Must be in New York City or willing to relocate.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship considered case by case.
