About the Role
As a Traveling Maintenance Supervisor at Conifer Realty, you will lead a team dedicated to maintaining affordable housing communities, ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and well-kept. This role involves overseeing operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and resident satisfaction, with opportunities for growth within a company focused on community impact.
Responsibilities
- Lead and train maintenance staff to uphold Conifer’s quality and safety standards.
- Manage work orders, make-ready units, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate with the Community Manager on budgets, inspections, and resident care.
- Ensure compliance with safety and housing regulations.
- Assist with repairs, groundskeeping, and seasonal tasks when needed.
- Supervise operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and resident satisfaction.
- Support leasing efforts, resident engagement, and rent collection activities during scheduled weekend hours.
Requirements
- 5+ years of apartment or residential maintenance experience, including team supervision.
- HVAC certification and knowledge of inspections, preventive maintenance, and Fair Housing.
- Expertise in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and safety compliance.
- Experience managing budgets, vendors, and maintenance schedules.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Yardi or similar systems.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to respond within 30 minutes for on-call emergencies.
- High school diploma or GED (technical or vocational training preferred).
- Work schedules may include Saturdays, based on property performance needs such as occupancy levels, leasing activity, and rent collections.
- Weekend coverage will be scheduled on a rotating basis and aligned with business priorities.
