About the Role
Lewis Brisbois is seeking an associate attorney for its Complex Business & Commercial Litigation Practice in New York, NY. The role involves representing companies in various federal and state litigation matters.
Responsibilities
- Represent companies in federal and state litigation matters, including financial fraud, securities, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duties, partnership disputes, shareholder disputes, loan disputes, construction litigation, and UCC litigation.
- Manage all facets of litigation, including preparing and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, handling complex discovery, court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and preparing cases for trial.
Requirements
- At least one (1) to seven (7) years of complex commercial litigation experience.
- Experience representing companies in a variety of federal and state litigation matters.
- Experience in all facets of litigation including preparing and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, handling complex discovery, court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and preparing cases for trial.
- Admission to the New York Bar is required.
