About the Role
Define how customers learn Harvey and build the system to produce that learning at scale. Own the learning and certification strategy across Harvey Academy, the Help Center, and in-product education, including content formats and persona-specific needs. Design agentic workflows for content creation and establish quality control measures.
Responsibilities
- Build a leveled, persona-based curriculum for various user roles with clear outcomes and assessments.
- Define certification standards, including competencies, exam design, pass standards, and credential issuance.
- Diagnose learning needs and select appropriate formats (articles, videos, courses, exams), producing content in multiple media.
- Design agentic production workflows, including instructional standards and review processes.
- Manage publishing, maintenance, and localization of learning content across platforms.
- Guide a team of learning experience designers and a certification developer.
- Collaborate with Product, Product Marketing, Customer Success, Support, and Legal Engineering on release readiness and success metrics.
Requirements
- 5+ years in learning experience design, instructional design, or learning architecture for a technical product.
- 2+ years of leadership experience.
- Proven track record of building a leveled, persona-based curriculum or certification program from scratch.
- Hands-on production skill in at least two of: long-form writing, video, or audio.
- Fluency with AI tools and experience designing workflows with AI drafting and human review.
- Experience managing a CMS (e.g., Sanity) and an LMS (e.g., Skilljar).
- Experience using learning data to set priorities and measure results.
- Experience teaching lawyers or other professionals, or familiarity with CLE accreditation, is a plus.

- $140,000 - $216,000 USD
