About the Role
Drive meaningful impact as a Clinical Authorizations Expert. Review treatment plans and clinical documentation, liaise with BCBAs for essential case details, and engage directly with insurance payors to ensure seamless care authorization and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing treatment plans and clinical documents for initial and ongoing authorizations
- Ensuring treatment plans reflect medical necessity and adhere to behavior analytic principles
- Submitting clinical documentation within required deadlines
- Tracking and reporting feedback from insurance payors
- Conducting clinical calls with insurance providers to support authorizations
Requirements
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Experience conducting assessments and writing treatment and behavior intervention plans (preferred)
- Strong verbal communication and phone presence
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
