About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Product Management Professional to drive the Devices Product Line through smart strategy, market insights, and successful product launches. This role collaborates with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and commercial teams to bring innovative portable and mobile solutions to market, while developing impactful sales tools and leading competitive analysis. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, takes end-to-end ownership of projects, and is eager to make a meaningful impact.
Responsibilities
- Provide broad product management support for the Devices Product Line Management team.
- Deliver product reporting and participate in product line forecasting.
- Conduct ongoing competitive and market analysis.
- Support new Portable and Mobile product launches to ensure attainment of financial objectives within launch timelines.
- Collaborate with Product Line Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Configuration Management for product introductions and catalog updates.
- Communicate effectively within and outside of the organization, including with customers and vendors.
- Develop sales tools and collateral to equip field sales, inside sales, and channel partners.
- Implement value-added selling promotions, training collateral, presentations, and webinars.
- Ensure all marketing and sales collateral reflects current product line with accurate data.
- Proactively drive product activities and oversee key workstreams with minimal direction.
- Anticipate needs, identify gaps, and independently move projects forward.
- Apply creative thinking to solve complex problems, challenge assumptions, and identify innovative opportunities.
- Utilize inventive approaches to product strategy, market analysis, and commercialization.
- Lead competitive benchmarking sessions, prepare competitive product feature comparison spreadsheets, and conduct pricing analysis.
- Synthesize market insights for product road maps, market positioning, and strategic planning.
- Drive a culture of innovation by identifying new solutions, tools, and approaches.
- Prepare ad hoc reporting for product shipments, operational features, and historical sales trends.
- Provide training to sales, customer service, and application engineers.
- Participate in financial calls and inventory initiatives.
- Manage the reporting of product-line revenue and bookings for accurate forecasting.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or other related technology or business-oriented field.
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 5 years of prior related experience is required.
