About the Role
XMSTART is seeking an experienced and strategic full-time Systems Engineer (SE) to join our team at NRL in Washington, D.C. This role involves high-level experimental prototyping of system-to-user analytical processes and providing guidance to government customers throughout the systems lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-level experimental prototyping of system-to-user analytical processes.
- Provide guidance and support to government customers on all aspects of the systems life cycle.
- Develop CONOPS.
- Capture requirements.
- Work with developers to deliver capability.
- Test capabilities to ensure they meet requirements.
- Support transition to operations and operations.
- End-to-end systems integration prototyping.
- Data automation.
- Provide Systems Engineering Technical Advisor (SETA) and Systems Engineering Integration services with a focus on integration and operations of a complex mission system and supporting IT infrastructure.
- Work with team leads, program managers, and acquisition professionals to validate an acquisition strategy and its ability to support a technically feasible outcome that meets the customer’s needs.
- Integrate new systems and initiatives in support of customer’s requirements based off user’s operational needs.
- Understand system-to-system interfaces and act as an Integrator.
- Assist in preparation of presentations and reports.
- Monitor system and segment schedules, and recognize dependencies.
- Identify risks and opportunities.
Requirements
- Candidate should be an experienced system integrator with a strong Intelligence analytic background.
- Experience with data science techniques such as programming languages and/or data automation.
- An active TS/SCI with Poly.
- Extensive Intelligence Analytic experience.
- Experience as a System Engineer or System Integrator.
- Experience with data automation analytics.
- Experience with data science techniques and programming languages.
- Experience with Collection Management and Multi-INT Systems.
- Extensive experience with NRO Enterprise software applications.
