About the Role
Clean Scapes is hiring a Maintenance Crew Member to execute work following the direction of Crew Leaders and Account Managers. This role involves proficient use of various hand tools and performing duties associated with commercial landscape maintenance. You will work collaboratively with people from all backgrounds, emphasizing communication for cooperation and collaboration, and take care of all equipment, materials, and uniforms. Attendance at training classes and certifications as needed, and adherence to Clean Scapes safety policies and guidelines are also expected. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsibilities
- Execute work following the direction of Crew Leaders and Account Managers
- Proficient use of various hand tools
- Perform duties associated with commercial landscape maintenance
- Work collaboratively with people from all backgrounds emphasizing communication for cooperation and collaboration
- Take care of all equipment, materials, and uniforms
- Attend training classes and certifications as needed or instructed by supervisors
- Follow Clean Scapes safety policies and guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- No prior landscaping experience required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Reliable transportation to the office or jobsite.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
- This role involves heavy lifting, manual dexterity, and various physical tasks in Texas weather conditions.
- Safety and awareness are crucial, especially when handling machinery and equipment.
