About the Role
SP+ is an artificial intelligence company focused on creating checkout-free parking experiences using computer vision. We are the largest parking network in America and are reinventing parking to give people back their most valuable asset: time.
Responsibilities
- Perform facility maintenance and cleaning tasks as directed.
- Sweep and clean entrances, exits, stairwells, rails, booths, offices, and restrooms.
- Empty trash receptacles throughout the facility.
- Paint facility areas as directed.
- Replace burned-out light bulbs.
- Apply absorbent to oil spills.
- Submit requests for necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Check and ensure the proper condition and operation of safety items, gate arms, and ticket spitters.
- Provide ticket and record gate counters to the Manager.
- Maintain an inventory of janitorial supplies.
- Operate automatic sweepers, scrubbers, and outdoor equipment for repairs.
- Remove snow from entrance/exit ramps and designated areas.
- Report any observed violations of company policy, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences.
- Practice customer satisfaction strategies and service behaviors.
- Assist customers and resolve complaints.
- Be familiar with all aspects of the operation and cover other duties as needed.
- Maintain a neat and clean appearance and wear the complete uniform.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or a combination of experience and education.
- May require facility maintenance, electrical, and/or painting experience and skills training.
- Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record if driving a company vehicle or on company business.
- Ability to work 3rd shift and/or weekends may be a requirement.
- Ability to speak clearly, listen, and get clarification.
- Ability to respond well to questions.
- Ability to write clearly and informatively.
- Ability to read and interpret written information.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
- Ability to respond to requests for service and assistance.
