About the Role
Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Full-Time Residential Shift at P.I.L.O.T. Services. Join a passionate organization dedicated to supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities under a refreshed “We Care” approach focused on respect, teamwork, and creating engaging experiences.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily support and supervision to adults with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities
- Assist with personal care and promote independence in daily living skills
- Transport individuals to community outings, appointments, and recreational activities
- Plan and participate in engaging activities such as arts & crafts, cooking, games, and outings
- Support community involvement through volunteering, shopping trips, and social events
- Maintain accurate daily documentation using our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
- Work collaboratively with team members to create a safe, positive, and engaging environment
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- A verifiable High School Diploma or GED required
- Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential
- A valid New Jersey auto driver's license with less than 5 points; probationary not accepted
