About the Role
Support Apple Ads, Apple’s global advertising platform, by handling all its legal needs, providing legal advice, and protecting Apple from undue legal risk. This role is broad and dynamic, involving drafting agreements, advising on new laws, and counseling on new products and features.
Responsibilities
- Handle all legal needs for Apple Ads.
- Provide legal advice to the advertising platform business.
- Protect Apple from undue legal risk.
- Draft or negotiate agreements.
- Advise on new laws or regulations.
- Provide legal risk counseling on new products or features.
- Distill and present complex legal ideas to business stakeholders.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant legal experience.
- Experience handling legal issues relating to digital platforms, online commerce, software services, or ad tech (e.g., digital advertising publication or distribution).
- Subject matter expertise in laws and regulations governing online content, distribution, or digital platforms.
- Subject matter expertise in commercial contracting relating to online services, digital platforms, or digital advertising.
- Subject matter expertise in intellectual property law (trademark / copyright).
- Subject matter expertise in advertising law.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Top-notch legal analysis skills and practical judgment.
- JD (or equivalent) plus admission to at least one U.S. state bar.
