About the Role
The Investor Relations Associate will play a key role in supporting the development and execution of Alamos Gold’s Investor Relations program, managing the flow of key financial and corporate information between the Company, its shareholders, and the financial and investment communities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and distribute external communication materials, including press releases, corporate presentations, and quarterly materials to investors, analysts, and the financial community.
- Develop, coordinate, and participate in presentations to shareholders, research analysts, and the financial community.
- Plan and manage investor meetings, conference calls, site tours, investor days, and participation in road shows and conferences.
- Maintain and post corporate materials in a timely manner and ensure the website content is up to date.
- Maintain the client relationship management database and perform analysis of shareholder ownership, marketing effectiveness, and investor targeting.
- Collect, review, analyze, and compile detailed analyst estimates into an internal database.
- Provide support and respond to inquiries from sell-side research analysts, shareholders, and investors.
- Respond to special requests from other departments.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of capital markets experience, preferably in corporate investor relations, marketing, equity research, or similar.
- Mining industry experience preferred.
- Ability to work within tight timelines and comfort working longer hours periodically.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
Skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Working knowledge of graphics software, such as Adobe Photoshop or similar.
- Preferred working knowledge of Bloomberg, Factset, S&P Capital Access, and Capital IQ Pro.
- Strong organizational skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Exemplary communication skills (oral, written, presentation).
