About the Role
Minerva is seeking a Design Engineer to own the quality of the product experience from concept to shipped software, using code as the primary design medium. This senior individual contributor role focuses on creating intuitive interfaces that make complex data feel simple and trustworthy for marketers and CMOs.
Responsibilities
- Make complex data legible by designing and building surfaces for marketers to work with data on hundreds of millions of consumers.
- Turn agent output into decisions by determining how segments, models, and measurements are displayed and explained.
- Design in code, prototyping elements like motion and keyboard flows, and taking the strongest versions to production.
- Make cost calls regarding animations and component reusability.
- Own and maintain the design system, ensuring consistency across all product engineering outputs.
- Be accountable for the customer's experience with a surface post-launch.
Requirements
- Demonstrated taste in design work, including restraint and clarity.
- Ability to defend design opinions with first-principles reasoning.
- Proven experience designing and shipping production interfaces.
- Willingness to engage in constructive debate to arrive at the best decisions.
- Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship considered case by case.
