About the Role
Exciting opportunity to work at Ocean Downs Casino, located near the beaches of Ocean City, MD. This full-time, year-round position offers a fun work environment and a chance to contribute to an awesome team while ensuring guests have a good time.
Responsibilities
- Respond to calls requesting surveillance coverage.
- Conduct surveillance through the CCTV system to observe, report, and record procedural violations and unusual activities.
- Communicate violations promptly to supervisory personnel and follow up with accurate documentation.
- Prepare additional reports as needed.
- Conduct tape reviews.
- Document equipment malfunctions.
- Ensure compliance with State Lottery Regulations, Internal Controls, and company Policies & Procedures.
- Promote outstanding customer relations.
- Promote honesty and trust amongst the team.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous experience in casino surveillance preferred.
- Vision must be correctable to 20/20.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to read, write, speak, understand or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
- Ability to consistently comprehend, retain and execute written, verbal and demonstrated directions, explanations and guidance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management.
- Must be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency required of all Gaming Establishment employees.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time without difficulty.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which includes days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
