About the Role
Join our Team @ DoubleTree by Hilton Rochester where YOU are Appreciated! We are looking for an Early Morning Breakfast Server to provide friendly, courteous, and timely service to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Check breakfast buffet and dining space for proper setup and cleanliness before, during, and after shift.
- Take guest orders.
- Set up and tear down the food service buffet.
- Welcome and greet guests, ensuring they feel comfortable and personally attended to.
- Replenish food on the buffet counter and beverages as necessary, checking with guests for overall satisfaction.
- Maintain the cleanliness and order of the executive lounge.
- Clear and reset tables after each use.
- Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards.
- Maintain clean service areas.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation.
- Knowledge of appropriate table settings and silverware.
- Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to operate beverage and toast equipment.
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
