About the Role
We are looking for a passionate Buyer who thrives on driving procurement excellence and building strong supplier partnerships. You will join a team dedicated to delivering sustainable, high-quality rail solutions that move cities and people forward. As part of a global network, you’ll help shape the future of mobility through strategic sourcing and operational precision.
Responsibilities
- Lead supplier negotiations to ensure cost efficiency and long-term value creation.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to align procurement strategies with project needs.
- Ensure reliability of supply through proactive risk management and supplier performance monitoring.
- Drive innovation by identifying and onboarding new suppliers with advanced technologies and sustainable practices.
- Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the procurement community.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems for procurement management.
- Strong understanding of strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management.
- Ability to analyze cost structures and implement value engineering initiatives.
- Experience with contract negotiation and compliance within industrial supply chains.
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on cross-functional teamwork and communication.
Salary/Compensations
- $80,000 - $100,000 USD
