Seeking an Associate Attorney with experience in removal defense to represent clients in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and at USCIS and ICE appearances.
Responsibilities
- Draft briefs, motions, and other legal documents.
- Prepare clients for hearings, interviews, and other immigration proceedings.
- Represent clients before the Immigration Court, USCIS, and ICE.
- Provide legal counsel and develop case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys.
- Conduct legal research to support case preparation.
- Maintain detailed and accurate client records.
Requirements
- Active bar membership in good standing in New Jersey or another U.S. jurisdiction.
- At least one year of experience handling removal defense cases.
- Strong legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and maintain organized case files.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys and support staff to best serve clients.
