About the Role
As a Data Analyst Intern, you will work at the intersection of Content, Product, and Business, helping internal teams turn data into actionable insights. You will collaborate closely with the Sales and Content teams to understand their needs, analyze performance, and improve data accessibility.
Responsibilities
- Use SQL to query and manipulate data in Snowflake, ensuring data quality and reliability.
- Analyze application usage, reading behavior, content performance, and partner engagement to identify trends and support decision-making.
- Build and maintain Looker dashboards, prepare monthly partner reports, and improve existing reporting tools.
- Develop automated reporting workflows using SQL, Python, and Airflow, working closely with Data Engineers.
- Investigate changes in key metrics, identify performance drops, and conduct ad hoc analyses to answer business and product questions.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- SQL skills; experience with Snowflake is a plus.
- Knowledge of Python and/or R, with an interest in data analysis and automation.
- Interest in BI and visualization tools; Looker and Airflow experience are a plus.
- Analytical, curious, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on data quality.
- Good communication skills and the ability to translate business needs into actionable insights.
