About the Role

We are seeking a C++ Software Engineer to build low-latency trading infrastructure on Linux, working on core components of our Switchboard trading platform, including pricing engines, connectivity gateways, market-data systems, and the messaging layer. • Develop and maintain observability and monitoring systems (dashboards, alerting, metrics).
  • Respond to incidents with a 15-minute acknowledgement SLA during working hours.
  • Investigate issues and document solutions.
  • Write clear, testable code and participate in code reviews.
  • Collaborate with a distributed team across multiple time zones.
  • Embrace and utilize AI tooling for engineering tasks.

  • Comfortable working close to the metal, understanding underlying system operations.
  • Experience with performance-sensitive systems, including profiling and optimization.
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/UDP, socket programming).
  • Go experience is a strong bonus.
  • Python for scripting, automation, testing, and data analysis.
  • Proficiency with Git and shell scripting.
  • Experience in financial services or trading technology is a plus.
  • Delivery-focused mindset with a commitment to iteration and improvement.
  • Takes ownership of work and its production behavior.
  • Values documentation as a means of scaling knowledge.
  • Communicates clearly and proactively, especially during incidents.
