About the Role
Cyera is seeking a Privacy Specialist to support our sales organization in the privacy line of business. This technical, customer-facing role involves demonstrating Cyera's privacy capabilities to prospects and customers, translating their privacy requirements into compelling solutions, and supporting the sales team in closing deals. You will be a key player in shaping how Cyera sells privacy and influencing product development with your field insights.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the privacy subject matter expert for sales and solutions teams, joining discovery calls, demos, and executive briefings.
- Build and deliver tailored demos connecting Cyera's privacy capabilities to customer needs.
- Lead proof of value engagements from scoping through customer readout.
- Own privacy responses to RFPs, RFIs, and related questionnaires.
- Coach go-to-market teams on privacy discovery and qualification.
- Run the privacy demo request process, including intake, prep documentation, and agendas.
- Provide privacy-specific input to sellers and Revenue Operations for accurate scoping and CRM recording.
- Serve as the day-to-day point of contact on active pursuits, POVs, and RFPs.
- Hand off cleanly to Customer Success and Implementation teams for smooth customer transitions.
- Act as a power user of the privacy products, demoing and troubleshooting with confidence.
- Capture structured customer feedback, feature gaps, and win/loss insights for the Product team.
- Develop demo scripts, talk tracks, and recorded walkthroughs for privacy capabilities.
- Enable and certify technical teams to present privacy modules.
- Work with Product Marketing to translate field learnings into positioning, collateral, and customer stories.
- Translate regulatory and market developments into clear positioning, sales plays, and customer guidance.
- Help shape Cyera's point of view on the intersection of privacy, data security, and AI.
Requirements
- 4+ years in a privacy-focused pre-sales, solutions engineering, privacy consulting, or technical privacy implementation role.
- Demonstrated ability to build and deliver tailored product demos to technical and executive audiences.
- Strong working knowledge of privacy laws and frameworks (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other US state laws), emerging frameworks around AI governance, and core privacy operations concepts.
- Exceptional written communication skills for producing clear, accurate, and persuasive documents.
- Excellent presentation skills to translate technical capabilities into business value.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple concurrent pursuits, deadlines, and stakeholders.
- Experience in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment, working with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success.
