About the Role

The Creative Studio at SoFi is seeking a Senior Art Director to join its in-house agency. This role will create and deliver marketing and advertising materials, focusing on products like Checking and Savings, Invest, and Credit Card. The ideal candidate is driven, forward-thinking, and interested in applying AI in creative workflows.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end concept and design for marketing projects across digital mediums including email, in-app messages, social media, branding campaigns, lead gen campaigns, digital videos, and display banners.
Create marketing materials for engaging, fast-growing products.
Collaborate with copywriters on campaign vision and storytelling.
Create visually exciting, forward-thinking, and emotionally engaging consumer- and enterprise-facing work.
Test, iterate, and optimize designs to improve business results.
Utilize enterprise-approved AI tools for creative workflow efficiencies.
Collaborate with creative, web, development teams, and cross-functional stakeholders like product marketing, lifecycle marketing, and strategy.
Champion the SoFi brand and user experience, shaping the brand narrative.
Produce award-winning advertising and marketing materials within the Creative Studio.

Requirements

A minimum of five years working as an art director at an ad agency, in-house creative department, or freelancing for major brands.
A strong portfolio showcasing advanced conceptual and craft skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and iterate on designs based on feedback.
Ability to balance multiple projects with tight timelines and solve complex creative problems with minimal guidance.
Comfortable testing design solutions and iterating based on results.
Proficient in collaborating with product marketers, product designers, brand strategists, and other cross-functional partners.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and support the team.
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
Experience in regulated industries like FinTech and Insurance is a plus.
