About the Role

The Atlassian Solution Architect is responsible for the strategic development, administration, security, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the organization's Atlassian platform, primarily Jira and Confluence. The role owns platform architecture, business process development, integrations, automation, dashboards, and reporting, ensuring secure and compliant operation while driving digital transformation and operational efficiency.

Ensuring secure and compliant operation of the Atlassian platform.
Driving digital transformation and operational efficiency through the Atlassian platform.

Requirements

Demonstrable experience designing, administering, and developing enterprise-scale Jira and Confluence environments, including workflow configuration, permissions, schemes, and platform governance.
Proven experience analyzing business requirements and translating them into scalable technology solutions that improve business processes, operational efficiency, and user experience.
Strong experience developing and maintaining workflow automation, reporting, dashboards, and data visualization capabilities within the Atlassian ecosystem.
Experience integrating Jira and Confluence with internal and external applications, databases, and business systems through APIs and other integration technologies.
Sound understanding of information security, access management, data governance, and platform compliance.
Experience supporting secure or regulated customer environments.
Experience managing platform lifecycle activities including upgrades, patching, release management, performance optimization, and ongoing platform maintenance.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with technical teams, business leaders, and end users at all levels of the organization.
Must hold, or be eligible to obtain, UK Security Check (SC) Clearance.
