About the Role
G MASS Consulting is partnering with a leading international bank to hire a Derivatives Operations Analyst for their London operations team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an early-career candidate to establish a strong foundation in post-trade operations within a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Confirm and settle derivative trades accurately and within agreed deadlines, in line with internal and group operating procedures.
- Develop a working knowledge of the full product range through cross-training, with particular emphasis on FX derivatives.
- Raise potential operational issues promptly with team leadership and help drive them through to resolution.
- Work within the firm’s quality and control standards at all times.
- Review existing processes and put forward ideas for improvement.
- Communicate clearly and efficiently with colleagues and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
- Support the wider team with ad-hoc tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Some exposure to an operations, finance or office-based environment is beneficial, though not essential.
- Strong numerical and analytical ability.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- Well organised, with good time management and attention to detail.
- Confident user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
