Responsibilities

- Oversee and monitor the delivery of betting and gaming tax returns by the GFC agreed KPIs and escalation routes for performance or control issues.
- Coordinate and maintain a global view of local regulatory engagement and lobbying activity, working closely with Regulatory Affairs to identify emerging risks and themes, and inform, global tax strategy discussions.
- Contribute to industry consultations and regulatory responses where appropriate, ensuring the Group’s position is clearly articulated and aligned to strategy.
Requirements
- Strong global indirect tax compliance manager capable of understanding the key risks and issues within tax returns and the wider compliance process.
- Ability to quickly assimilate the key issues for new taxes and legislative developments whilst asking probing questions to assess the impact on the business.
