About the Role
In the role of a Data Scientist Intern, you will gain real-world experience on exciting projects, connect with recent college graduates and company leaders, and contribute towards a variety of data science projects including exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, model development and training. You will also develop data and generative AI solutions such as chatbots, geospatial, and geotechnical search facilities, working with software like Snowflake and Azure AI services.
Responsibilities
- Offer real-world experience on exciting projects
- Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs
- Perform assignments under the direct supervision of your Department Manager, Section Manager or other professionals
- Contribute towards a variety of data science projects performing exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, model development and training
- Develop data and generative AI solutions including chatbots, geospatial, and geotechnical search facilities
- Work with a variety of open source and commercial software such as Snowflake, and Azure AI services
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
- Attention to detail a must
- Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
