About the Role
As an E-commerce (EC) and mail-order sales representative, you will drive revenue growth and market development by managing strategic customer partnerships, negotiating competitive sales terms, and optimizing product SKU placement. You will develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies, including annual and quarterly plans, product lineup optimization, and targeted promotional campaigns, aligned with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- EC headquarters negotiation and account management
- Conduct regular negotiations with EC/mail-order businesses
- Negotiate product listings (SKU introduction/expansion) and exposure
- Negotiate sales terms (margins, rebates, advertising space)
- Develop and execute EC/mail-order sales strategies
- Formulate annual/quarterly sales and profit plans
- Optimize product lineup and pricing strategies (including competitor analysis)
- Plan and execute sales events
- Data analysis and KPI management
- Manage KPIs such as sales, CVR, access numbers, and average order value
- Marketing strategy
- Propose promotions based on market trend analysis in EC/mail-order
Requirements
- Approximately 5 years of experience in a front-line sales role for EC/mail-order in Japan
- Special incentive for those with air conditioner sales experience (eligibility criteria to be explained during the hiring process)
Skills
- EC sales/operations experience
- Data analysis skills (Excel, BI tools, GA, etc.)
- Digital marketing knowledge (advertising, SEO)
- Pricing strategy and competitor analysis skills
- IT literacy (tool understanding and operation)
- Product knowledge of home air conditioners is desirable
