About the Role
We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Junior Videographer/Editor to join our Eliza & YOU video team. You will help produce engaging, high-quality content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube, supporting shoots and edits across various content types. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional passionate about social video to develop their filming and editing skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Support and lead smaller-scale shoots, capturing high-quality video across studio, location, and social-first productions.
- Edit engaging short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, using strong pacing, storytelling, music, and graphics.
- Collaborate with producers and the wider team to brainstorm ideas, develop concepts, and contribute to pre-production planning.
- Create content with a strong understanding of platform trends, audience engagement, and the distinct visual identities of Eliza and YOU.
- Assist with filming and editing branded content and commercial campaigns, ensuring deliverables meet creative briefs and brand requirements.
- Help prepare shot lists, organize equipment, set up lighting and audio, and ensure shoots run smoothly.
- Support with color correction, audio mixing, subtitles, and basic motion graphics to deliver polished, platform-ready edits.
- Take responsibility for the preparation, safe handling, and maintenance of camera, lighting, and audio equipment.
- Work closely with producers, talent, and senior creatives, responding positively to feedback and incorporating amends.
- Stay up to date with emerging video trends, filming techniques, and creative approaches, bringing fresh ideas to both brands.
Requirements
- Some hands-on experience filming and editing video content, whether professionally, through freelance work, education, or personal projects.
- A personal interest/cultural fluency in fashion + beauty content.
- A working knowledge of camera equipment, lighting, audio, and basic filming techniques.
- Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro.
- A strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, including what makes content engaging and shareable.
- A good eye for composition, visual storytelling, and attention to detail.
- An interest in fashion, beauty, wellness, and lifestyle content, with an understanding of the audiences both brands speak to.
- The confidence to contribute ideas, ask questions, and take on creative feedback.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative, positive attitude and willingness to get stuck into all aspects of video production.
- Creative instincts, a genuine passion for making great content, and the ambition to grow as both a videographer and editor.
